Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10-03 - <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ASSOCIATE PLANNER TO. MISSISSIPPI RIVER <br />CORRIDOR CRITICAL AREA (MRCCA) RULEMAKING WORKING GROUP <br />WHEREAS, in 2009, the Minnesota Legislature directed the DNR to establish rules for <br />the Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area (the "MRCCA "); and <br />WHEREAS, the rulemaking requires the DNR to establish districts within the MRCCA, <br />minimum guidelines for standards in the districts, take into account municipal plans and policies <br />as well as existing ordinances and conditions; and <br />WHEREAS, as part of the rulemaking process, working groups will be established of 15- <br />20 people set to convene three or four times from March 2010 to September 2010 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT .RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the City Council hereby appoints the Associate Planner to serve on the MRCCA <br />Working Group. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 9 day of March, 2010. <br />ATTEST: Mayor <br />City Clerk <br />RESOLUTION #10-03 - <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
