Further discussion: Councilmember Elvig asked staff to invite this appraiser and the appraiser <br />the County used that valued land adjacent to Highway 610 at $4 /sq. ft. present to discuss their <br />appraisals. Councilmember Elvig noted that RALF dollars are highly competitive so the Council <br />needs a sense of urgency to resolve its questions. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Dehen, Look, Elvig, Jeffrey, and <br />Wise. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember McGlone. <br />8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />Youth First <br />Mayor Ramsey reported on the success of the recent Mayor's snowmobile trail ride on the Rum <br />River that raised over $1,700 for Youth First and announced the upcoming Mayor's Prayer <br />Breakfast. <br />Open Houses Scheduled <br />City Engineer Himmer announced the open house to be held February 11, 2010, on the proposed <br />CR116 improvements from Sunfish to the east. He also announced the February 17, 2010, open <br />house to discuss the Armstrong Boulevard interchange at Highway 10. <br />Upcoming Events <br />Councilmember Elvig announced the dates of upcoming community events. <br />Train Whistle Quiet Zone <br />City Administrator Ulrich commented on the train whistle quiet zone that will start on February <br />25, 2010. <br />9.
