Areas with depth to bedrock greater than 10 feet. Areas without fractures or faults within 6 feet of surface. Soil types with medium to fine texture. Cation exchange capacity greater than 15 milliequive- lants per 100 grams of soil. Soil types with depth to groundwater table greater than 10 fee t. Area is not a recharge area for a major aquifer. Groundwater flow direction away from current or potential potable water supplies. Greater than 200 feet from a local potable water supply well.. Suitable Soil types with slopes greater than 12 percent require terracing.. Areas with depth to bed- rock greater than 3 feet fine and medium texture soils or greater than 6 feet for coarse texture soils.* Areas with fractures or faults within 6 feet of surface .p Soil types with coarse, very coarse or gravel texture. Organic soils if drained. Cation exchange capacity sufficient to handle metal deposit.* Soil types with depth to groundwater table greater than 3 feet for medium and fine texture soils and 6 feet for coarse texture soils.* Area is a recharge area for a major aquifer.
