<br />CASE #7 PLANS FOR UPGRADING STATE HIGHWAY #47 FROM 0.5 MILES SOUTH TO 0.5 <br />MILES NORTH OF C.S.A.H. #5 <br /> <br />Council discussed this and reviewed the contents of enclosure (D2-h) which <br />contained in Council agenda of December 16, 1980 a map that was on display <br />at the Council Chambers. Councilman Cox stated that the City of Ramsey <br />had acquired the right-of-way land that the State needed and do this im- <br />provement. Further that the City had transferred this land to the County <br />for further transfer of title to the Minnesota Highway Department. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution #80-l63 Approving of the Minnesota Highway Department layout (No.1, <br />S.P. 0206-32 (47=1l0) from 0.5 miles south to 0.5 miles north of C.S.A.H. #5.) <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Reimann, Sorteberg and <br />Cox. Voting no None. (Please refer to Council Resolution File for Resolution <br />#80-l63. ) <br /> <br />COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CASE #l REQUEST TO MOVE IN A DWELLING; CASE OF CURT TITTERUD <br /> <br />Mr. Curt Titterud was present for the above request (which was to move a <br />house in on Parcel 4260 Plat 89215 located at l62nd Lane N.W. ) he had before <br />Council. Mr. Berg presented pictures of the above house to the Council mem- <br />bers for their information. Council discussed with Mr. Titterud about the <br />house that he is requesting authorization to move in to the City. Mr. <br />Titterud stated he would be adding a dining room to it to meet the square <br />footage requirement. He further stated he would put dormers and new siding <br />to the house. He also stated that he would construct a detached garage. <br /> <br />Council reviewed the contents of enclosure (D3-a) of Council agenda dated <br />December 16, 1980, which was submitted for their information. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Council asked Mr. Titterud if he was going to complete construction on the <br />house after he moved it into the City. He stated he had not planned to do <br />much yet this winter. Council stated that they would like for him, if they <br />granted permission, to have the house set up upon a completed basement, etc. <br /> <br />Council asked Mr. Titterud if he would object to a public hearing to find <br />what the neighborhood comments would be on him moving in this house. He <br />stated that probably would be a good idea. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to have an <br />informal public hearing on the above':request at 7: 30 P.M., December 29, 1980 <br />and a special meeting following the public hearing to take action on his re- <br />quest. Council further requested that notification be sent out to the citizens <br />in that area as is required by the City Code for public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
