CHARTER CASE #2 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF STATE STATUTE 410 <br />By: James E. Norman, City Administrator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Discussion and interpretation of State Statute 410 was placed on different Charter Commission <br />meetings, beginning in 2001, in two Charter Commission meetings in 2002, and the one meeting <br />in 2003. Commissioner Ben Deemer has stated that he disagrees with the interpretation of <br />Chapter 410.12 and the City Attorney. The item has been held over for discussion and <br />consideration.
