Councilmember Dehen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #09-08-193 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACTING WITH A VENDOR FOR AD SALES <br />SERVICE, A VENDOR FOR REDESIGN OF THE RAMSEY RESIDENT AND A <br />VENDOR FOR PRINT SERVICES FOR THE RAMSEYRESIDENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has considered a redesign of the City newsletter, The <br />Ramsey Resident. The newsletter will be a four-color glossy newsletter with space for <br />advertisers. Staff sought authorization to obtain a draft contract for sale of ad space, and <br />proposals for redesign and printing of the newsletter. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Staff shall enter into a contract with Scott Robinson of Youth First Marketing, LLC <br />where Mr. Robinson will sell ad space in the Ramsey Resident on behalf of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />2) Staff shall enter into a contract with Audra Leonard (Logodog), based on Council <br />discussion, to perform redesign of the Ramsey Resident. <br />3) Staff shall enter into a contract with Great River Printing, based on Council discussion, to <br />perform the printing services of the Ramsey Resident. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />
