Commissioner Jeffrey introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #HRA 10-01-001 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SECRETARY-TREASURER FOR THE RAMSEY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (HRA) TO DELEGATE CERTAIN DUTIES TO CITY STAFF AND CONSULTANTS. WHEREAS, on March 8, 2005, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05-03- 072 to establish a Housing and Redevelopment Authority, in and for the City of Ramsey; and WHEREAS, on March 22, 2005, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 469, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution #HRA-OS-03-001 to establish by-laws by which it shall be governed; and WHEREAS, the HRA By-Laws require election of officers annually; and WHEREAS, the Board appointed John Dehen as Chair, David Jeffrey as Vice-Chair, and Jeff Wise as Secretary/Treasurer for the calendar year 2010; and WHEREAS, the HRA By-Laws state that with a majority approval of the Board of Commissioners, the Secretary-Treasurer may delegate duties to City Staff and/or consultants. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY, IN AND FOR THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: The Secretary-Treasurer for the Ramsey HRA is herein authorized to delegate the following duties: a) Recording of meeting minutes to the City Clerk or his/her designee. b) Custody and maintenance of HRA funds to the City's Finance Officer The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Commissioner Elvig, upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Chairperson Dehen Commissioner Elvig Commissioner Jeffrey Commissioner Look Commissioner McGlone Commissioner Ramsey Commissioner Wise
