Attachment C <br />Councilmember Wise stated he knew the applicant and it was the applicant's neighbors who <br />wanted him to keep the building up so the neighbors did not need to look at his storage items. <br />He believed the applicant was planning on putting a veneer on the building. <br />Councilmember McGlone stated the applicant has been agreeable with the Council and it was his <br />understanding that the applicant wanted to store hay in this building. He believed it would be <br />better to have the hay in a building than outside under a tarp. <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to adopt Resolution #10- <br />01 -019 adopting Findings of Fact #0859 relating to the applicant's request for a conditional use <br />permit and to adopt Resolution # 10 -01 -020 approving the Conditional Use Permit to exceed the <br />total amount of Accessory Structure Square Footage; Case of Gene and Cindy Goede based on <br />the findings of fact and subject to the applicant upgrading the exterior of the accessory structure <br />to match the home, in accordance with City Code accessory structure ordinances. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, Wise, Dehen, Elvig, and <br />McGlone. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Jeffrey. <br />7.03: Introduce Ordinance to Amend Section 9.11.08 (Off - Street Parking <br />Regulations) of the Zoning Chapter of City Code. Case of City of Ramsey. <br />Planning Manager Miller reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Dehen stated he was not in favor of the zoning application process. He believed <br />if there was any variation from the Ordinance, it should go through the Planning process and a <br />findings drafted. He liked the Ordinance but not the zoning application process. <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated it was common practice to have staff approve these types of <br />requests. <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Mayor Ramsey, to introduce an ordinance to <br />amend Section 9.11.08 (Off - Street Parking) of the Ramsey City Code. <br />Further discussion: Mayor Ramsey noted this was still complaint based. He asked if this had <br />any bearing on farmers. Planning Manager Miller responded there was an agricultural exception <br />for agriculture. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Dehen, Look, McGlone, <br />and Wise. Voting No: None.
