Gohman bid received and staff recommended alternates is as follows: Met Council grant $364,000 RTC park payments $340,000 Park dedication (within district) $440,000 Park dedication (outside district) $794,458 Future RTC Land Sales $794,458 $2,732,916 Staff Recommendation: Staff recommends that the City Council award contract A for City project #10-23, East Meandering Commons Park, to W. Gohman Construction Company in the amount of $2,226,708.51, which includes add alternates A, B, C, D, K, M, and N, and contract B to Great Northern Landscapes, Inc in the amount of $102,087.20, which includes add alternates 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, and 10, and the project electrical work to Connexus Energy in the amount of $155,674. Council Action: Motion to approve Resolution 10-03-XXX awarding contract A for City project #10-23, East Meandering Commons Park, to W. Gohman Construction Company in the amount of $2,226,708.51, and contract B to Great Northern Landscapes, Inc. in the amount of $102,087.20, and the project electrical work to Connexus Energy in the amount of $155,674. -and- Motion to authorize staff to negotiate specialty inspection contracts up to a maximum dollar amount of $25,000.
