CASE # <br />UPDATE ON CHARTER COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS <br />By: Jo Thieling, City Clerk <br />Background: <br />As you are aware, four of the Commissioner's terms expired on 12/31/2009 -Roger <br />Bergfalk, Terri Cleveland, Benjamin Deemer and Darren Erickson. Each Commissioner <br />was notified of the expiration and invited to send a letter to Judge Timothy Bloomquist to <br />request reappointment. The vacancies were advertised in the Anoka County Union and <br />on the City's website to allow members of the public to also request appointment. <br />Staff has received a letter from Judge Bloomquist advising of his reappointment of Terri <br />Cleveland and Ben Deemer and the new appointment of Susan Anderson. Staff has <br />emailed the new appointees and the oath of office will be issued prior to tonight's <br />meeting. This leaves one vacancy left to fill.
