ORDINANCE #06-35 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 2 OF THE HOME RULE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY. THIS AMENDMENT RELATES GENERALLY TO THE FORM OF <br />GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY <br />THE CITY OF RAMSEY ORDAINS. <br />SECTION 1. AUTHO RITY: <br />This Ordinance is enacted pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §410.12, Subd. 7. <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT . <br />A. Subsection 2.1 of the Home Rule Charter of the City of Ramsey is hereby amended to <br />provide as written below: <br />CHAPTER 2 <br />FORM OF GOVERNMENT <br />Section 2.1 Form of Government. T'~ ~ ~ a + ° ~a~ ~~~ ~' +'"~ <br />« . <br />mecca-izi +-m~cnT cv min?-:- The form of government established by this charter is the <br />"Council Manager Plan" as defined by Minnesota State Statutes. Except as <br />otherwise provided by law or this charter, all powers of the city are vested in the <br />city council The city manager shall be the head of the administrative branch of the <br />city government and shall be responsible to the council for the proper <br />administration of all city affairs. <br />2.1.1 The effective date of Section 2.1 shall be January 1, 2011. <br />SECTION 3. EF FECTIVE DATE. <br />This Ordinance shall become effective 90 days after its passage and publication subject <br />to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes §410.12, Subd. 7. <br />_1 g_ <br />
