<br />Councilmember Dehen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10-02-040 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 10-04 THE BITUMINOUS OVERLAY OF STREETS IN <br />RIVERS BEND 1ST & 2ND, AND RIVERS BEND PLAZA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 9, <br />2010, a feasibility study for the 2010 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, Assistant City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project 10-04 the <br />bituminous overlay of streets in Rivers Bend 1st & 2nd, And Rivers Bend Plaza including the <br />streets more specifically described below: and, <br /> <br />142nd Ave from TH47 to Waco St <br />142nd Lane from Waco St to Cui de sac <br />147th Circle from Waco St to Cui de sac <br />147th Lane from Waco St to Cui de sac <br />148th Ave from Waco St to pt 100 ft w/o Xkimo St <br />Waco St from 142nd Ave to Sunwood Dr <br />Xkimo St from Sunwood Drive to 147th Lane <br />Xkimo St from 142nd Ave to Cui de sac <br />Yakima ST from Sunwood Drive to 148th Ave <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of edge milling and a <br />bituminous overlay of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of <br />abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated <br />total cost of $270,878. <br /> <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 9th day of <br />March, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10-02-040 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
