Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #10-02-042 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 10-06 THE BITUMINOUS OVERLAY OF OLD CR5, AND DOLOMITE STREET BETWEEN HIGHWAY 10 AND RIVERDALE DRIVE WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 9, 2010, a feasibility study for the 2010 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, Assistant City Engineer, with reference to Improvement ProjectlO.06 the bituminous overlay of Old CR5, and Dolomite Street Between Highway 10 And Riverdale Drive: and, WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is necessary, cost effective, and feasible. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of bituminous overlay of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated total cost of$42,154. 2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 9th day of March, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Dehen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Ramsey Councilmember Dehen Councilmember Elvig Councilmember Jeffrey Councilmember Look Councilmember Wise and the following voted against the same: none and the following abstained: none RESOLUTION #10-02-042 Page 1 of2
