<br />Councilmember Dehen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10-02-043 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 10-07 THE BITUMINOUS OVERLAY OF PORTIONS OF <br />ALPINE DRIVE & ROANOKE STREET - MSA STREETS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted February 9, 2010, a <br />feasibility study for the 2010 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve <br />Jankowski, Assistant City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project 10-07 the <br />bituminous overlay of portions of Alpine Drive & Roanoke Street which are MSA streets <br />including the streets more specifically described below: and, <br /> <br />Alpine Dr <br />Roanoke St <br /> <br />from Highway 10 <br />from Alpine Dr <br /> <br />to <br />to <br /> <br />Puma St <br />Juniper Ridge Drive <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is <br />necessary, cost effective, and feasible. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council will consider the improvements of edge milling and <br />bituminous overlay of such streets in accordance with the report and the assessment of <br />abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and the Ramsey City Code Section 4.60 at an estimated <br />total cost of $265,500. <br /> <br />2) That a public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 9th day of <br />March, 2010 in the Council Chambers of the Ramsey Municipal Center located at 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW at 7:00 p.m. and the City Administrator shall give mailed and <br />published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Wise <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />none <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #10-02-043 <br />Page 1 of2 <br />
