Councilmember Look introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #09-12-275A <br />A RESOLUTION EXTENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR THE DEPUTY <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR AND THE PLANNING MANAGER <br />WHEREAS, Heidi Nelson was promoted to Deputy City Administrator/Director of <br />Community Development on June 24, 2009 and Amber Miller was reclassified to Planning <br />Manager on June 24, 2009; and <br />WHEREAS, these employees' probationary periods will end December 24, 2009 and <br />their probationary status would typically be addressed at the December 8 meeting of the City <br />Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the Deputy City Administrator would like to be in attendance <br />at the City Council meeting when these issues axe considered. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. The City Council of the City of Ramsey extends the probationary period of the Deputy <br />City Administrator and the Planning Manager to January 13, 2010. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />
