Councilmember Dehen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #10-02-047 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE SEVERE WEATHER EVACUATION POLICY <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to ensure the safety of employees and visitors to the <br />Municipal Center during a severe weather event; and <br />WHEREAS, this policy gives notice to staff and occupants of the Municipal Center to <br />seek shelter in designated areas during severe weather and guides staff in maintaining <br />accountability for all persons in the building; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending adoption of the Severe Weather Evacuation Policy. <br />NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey adopts the Severe Weather Evacuation <br />Policy. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Elvig, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Ramsey <br />Councilmember Dehen <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Look <br />Councilmember Wise <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />and the following abstained: <br />None <br />and the following were absent: <br />Councilmember McGlone <br />
