Associate Planner Gladhill verified with the applicant, Mr. Hilliard that he approved this change <br />to the variance. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Van Scoy, Board Members, Cleveland, Brauer, <br />Dunaway, Hunt, and Rogers. Voting No: None. Absent: Board Member Levine. <br />Board Member Cleveland wanted to let homeowners know that it is not okay to go ahead and <br />build structures without using the permit process and hope that things will go their way in the <br />future because that may not be the case. <br />Chairperson Van Scoy stated the board was very close to not finding a reason to grant this <br />variance. <br />Board Member Bauer stated in his years of experience on the Planning Commission this is the <br />most egregious example of flaunting the law in the face of the City.
