Absent: None. <br />HRA BUSINESS <br />Case #1: Consider Proposal from Landform for continued RTC Work <br />Deputy City Administrator Nelson reviewed the staff report <br />Motion by Commissioner Ramsey, seconded by Commissioner Look, to authorize the contract <br />extension with Landform for Interim Development Management Services for the period of <br />O 1 /01 /2010 - 02/28/2010 at anot-to-exceed rate of $15,000 per month. <br />Further Discussion: Chairperson Dehen stated he was not in favor of an Interim Development <br />Director and if the City needed this type of work, it could be subbed out. <br />Motion carried.. Voting Yes: Commissioners Ramsey, Look, Jeffrey, McGlone, and Wise. <br />Voting No: Chairperson Dehen. Absent: None. <br />Case #2: Consider Contract for Master Planning Services -Ramsey Town Center <br />(East End) <br />Deputy City Administrator Nelson reviewed the staff report. <br />Motion by Commissioner Ramsey, seconded by Commissioner Wise, to authorize contract with <br />Landform for Master Planning Services for the east end of Ramsey Town Center not to exceed <br />$10,000. <br />Further discussion: Commissioner Ramsey noted there was the possibility that the senior <br />housing project might need to be relooked at as a part of this. Commissioner Elvig asked where <br />they stood with Jim Deal's 60-foot easement. Mr. Lazan responded that would be addressed as a <br />part of the contract. Chairperson Dehen asked if they were getting any bids under the policy. <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated staff was viewing this as an extension of an existing contract <br />and he did not believe RFP's were necessary. In addition, he noted time was critical in this <br />matter. He recommended the HRA move ahead with the extension of the contract. Chairperson <br />Dehen stated he would like to see the HRA follow the procedure and get an RFP. He noted the <br />HRA was not following its own policy. Commissioner Look stated he was concerned about <br />compensation expectations.
