Total = $76,000 for equipment (10 year useful life), or $7,600 per year. (Following calculations based on 260 working days per year.) April through Oct. = 27 weeks @ average 29 hours per week (both trucks), or 783 hrs of truck time — which equates to 98 'days' of usage. Or, 38% use of depreciation per year attributable to this activity ($7,600 x .38% = $2,888 divided by 27 weeks equals $106.96 per week) Please note that these trucks are also used for other PW work AND plowing.
