AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 117 -1 (DEFINITIONS) OF THE RAMSEY <br />CITY CODE. <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2 AMEND <br />Section 117 -1 of the Ramsey City Code is amended to include the following text (additions <br />indicated as underlined text, deletions are indicated as a strikcthrough): <br />117 -1 Definitions <br />Driveway <br />- - . he garage width by more than 15 feet, or in the absencc of a <br />. An onsite prepared <br />surface traffic lane, which shall be the traffic lane leading directly from a public street to the <br />primary garage on the subject parcel; the width of which cannot exceed the primary garage <br />width by more than fifteen (15) feet, or in the absence of a garage, a traffic lane to a parking pad <br />that cannot exceed twenty (20) feet in width. Driveway parking may not extend beyond the front <br />of the primary garage without meeting the performance standards for side or rear yard parking_ <br />(Cannot exceed maximum width at roadway under zoning district bulk standards). <br />Equipment, commercial use, <br />he generation of revenue. A variety of heavy machines, either specifically <br />designed or used for commercial purposes, which perform specific construction or demolition <br />functions, such as hoisting, excavating, hauling, grading, paving, drilling, or pile driving, under <br />power. Trailers, either enclosed or flat -bed, 6x12 or smaller are exempt unless they have a <br />Department of Transportation Certificate or number; trailers used for transport of recreational <br />vehicles and not used for any commercial use are exempt. <br />Motor vehicle, commercial use, <br />ORDINANCE #10- <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />vans displaying company logos and/or advertisements. <br />Attachment A <br />
