Assistant City Engineer Jankowski replied that the City will be putting a crown back in that road and presumably catch basins on both sides to allow water to travel away from the center. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Look, to close the public hearing. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig, Look, Jeffrey, McGlone, and Wise. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Dehen. The public hearing was closed at 7:25 p.m. Council Business Mayor Ramsey called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:25 p.m. Assistant City Engineer Jankowski stated that no action is required by the Council unless it desires to make changes to the program; otherwise, staff will bring a request for plans and specs to the Council in 60 days. Councilmember Elvig agreed that the repairs to Xkimo Street should be pulled from the scope of work since it does not appear to need repairs at this time. Assistant City Engineer Jankowski stated that this would reduce the cost of the project by approximately 25 %, or $70,000. He stated if Council is okay with changing this portion of the project, staff will notify the affected residents that they are going to be removed from the program for the time being. 6.02: Public Hearing on Improvement Project 09 -25 Dysprosium Street Improvements Mayor Ramsey closed the regular portion of the City Council meeting at 7:30 p.m. in order to conduct a public hearing. Citizen Input Todd Newlin, 14290 Dysprosium Street NW, appeared before the City Council and stated he would like to have a separate driveway for a number of reasons, including resale value, additional parking, and safety issues.
