LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />MAY 17, 1989 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at <br />9:10 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present at roll call included Chairman Jim <br />Schrantz, Pete Raatikka, John Weaver, and Tom Mathisen. <br />Guests in attendance were: Curtis Pearson, Legal <br />Adviser; and Dean Skallman, Consulting Engineer, Barr Engin- <br />eering. <br />APRIL MINUTES <br />A motion was <br />approve the April <br />voted yes. Motion <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />1. Mathisen <br />not yet ready, but <br />made by Raatikka, seconded by Weaver, to <br />19, 1989, meeting minutes as printed. All <br />carried. <br />reported that the annual audit report is <br />should be available for the June meeting. <br />Mathisen presented the Treasurer's Report for the period <br />ending April 30, 1989, showing a balance of $17,155.99. Barr <br />Engineering has been fully paid for the Water Management <br />Plan. The Treasurer will soon be sending out assessment <br />payment notices to member cities. <br />A motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Raatikka, to <br />approve the Treasurer's Report with the suggestion that it be <br />noted that there are $3,250 worth of member city receivables <br />shown as assets in addition to the figures presently printed <br />on the financial report. All voted yes. Motion carried. <br />PAYMENT OF BILLS <br />Mathisen presented a bill from Barr Engineering in the <br />amount of $523.59 for meeting attendance and preparation of <br />watershed maps during the period Feb. 26 through April 1, <br />1989. <br />A motion was made by Mathisen, seconded by Raatikka, to <br />approve payment of this Barr Engineering bill as presented. <br />All voted yes. Motion carried. <br />
