The <br />Organization earns $50 for administrarion costs for each permit it processes. A deposit is received <br />upon application of the permit which is used to cover the administration costs and all professional <br />services incurred to complete the permit process. Any remaining deposit excess is refunded upon <br />issuance of the permit. <br />Grants: <br />The Organization received matching grants of $2,310 and $2,267 in fiscal yeazs 1997 and 1996, <br />respectively, from ttte Boazd of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) for properly and efficiently <br />implementing the Wetland Conservation Act of 1991. <br />The Organization also received a matching Second Generation Watershed Management Plan Grant <br />of $15,600 in fiscai year 1997 from the Boazd of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) for developing <br />a comprehensive local water plan. <br />The Organization also received a matching Challenge Grant of $5,200 in fiscal yeaz 1996 from the <br />Board of Water and Soil Resources (BWSR) for implementing a comprehensive local water plan. <br />Ali grants required equai matching of funds and had expired by January 31, 1997 with no carryover <br />of any unused amounu. <br />-6- <br />
