e <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JULY 18, 1990 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:40 <br />a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Tom Mathisen, Pete <br />Raatikka, and John Weaver. <br />Legal adviser Curtis Pearson was also present. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Mathisen requested clari <br />found on page six of the <br />asked that the minutes <br />$12,000 budget for the <br />assessed to the cities, <br />current balance. <br />Eication of the budget discussions, <br />June 28, 1990, meeting minutes. Motion carried. <br />Pearson advised the board that all alternate members to this <br />commission, initially appointed or changed, should be ap- <br />pointed by resolution from the respective city council, <br />according to the Joint Powers Agreement. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Mathisen stated no Treasurer's Report is available due to <br />time constraints. <br />Member Operating Cost Assessments were provided- for Fiscal <br />Years dating from February 1, 1990, through January 31, 1991, <br />based on $6,500 per year administrative /operating costs; as <br />well as the cost assessments for February 1, 1991, through <br />January 31, 1992, with $8,500 per year administrative /opera- <br />ting costs, based on valuations received from Anoka County <br />from 1988 -89 estimated market values. No billings have yet <br />been mailed out to member cities. <br />
