LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />April 15, 1992 <br />Page 5 <br />in explaining how phosphorus in a lake affects the general <br />water quality as well as how lake levels relate to ground <br />water discharge. The collection of this data could <br />reportedly benefit this board some day should it apply for <br />certain grants. <br />Erickson indicated the funds used for the 1992 Lake Monitor- <br />ing Program for the LRRWMO could be taken from the <br />Contingency Fund line item of the budget, which is where it <br />came from last year. <br />Mr. Brough stated if full lake monitoring and seechi disk <br />readings can be taken for each of the three lakes indicated, <br />the total cost to the LRRWMO will be $675.00. <br />VOTE: 3 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Brough indicated he will revise the lake monitoring <br />contract between the Anoka County SWCD and the LRRWMO and <br />will mail it back for the board's signature. <br />Mr. Brough stated the Anoka County SWCD has an intern on its <br />staff by the name of Chris Lord who specializes in natural <br />resources and environmental studies. He suggested the board <br />consider this individual as a consultant during the manage- <br />ment of the interim wetland regulations. <br />Schrantz indicated another possible consultant is a person by <br />the name of John Anderson. <br />PENDING PROJECTS /PERMIT REVIEWS <br />Update on City of Ramsey Project #91 -14 <br />This agenda item was held over to the May meeting in that a <br />City of Ramsey representative was not present. <br />Quarterly Reports <br />Erickson provided an April 15, 1992, letter indicating the <br />City of Coon Rapids does not have any new construction <br />projects in the LRRWMO watershed boundaries at this time. <br />OLD BUST -NESS <br />Water Quality Records /Maintenance <br />This item was tabled to the May agenda in that Jankowski was <br />not present. <br />
