LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />SEPTEMBER 17, 1992 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:30 <br />a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Steve Jankowski, and John <br />Weaver. Coon Rapids's alternate Bill Ottensman was absent. <br />Also present was Ray Schultz, Anoka alternate; Charles <br />Pfeffer and Dale Hamilton, Tiller Corporation; Wayne Bachman <br />and Lonnie Kornovich, Regency Woods Apartment Project; and <br />Cathy Brehm, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR). <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Jankowski, to APPROVE <br />THE AUGUST 20, 1992, REGULAR MEETING MINUTES AS PRINTED. <br />3 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Due to the absence of Ottensman and Deputy Treasurer Jim <br />Knutson, no Treasurer's Report was available. <br />PENDING PROJECTS /PERMIT REVIEWS <br />The Chairman brought these agenda items forward to <br />accommodate those present. <br />Tower Pond, Tiller Corporation, LRRWMO Application #92 -06 <br />Charles Pfeffer, Tiller Corporation, indicated his company <br />has received the LRRWMO Consulting Engineer's comments and <br />recommendation on mitigation requirements for the Tower Pond <br />project. Skallman's recommendations indicated, " The project <br />meets the requirements of the LRRWMO water quality standards. <br />There is a filling of about 0.6 acres of wetland which does <br />not meet the requirements of the 1991 wetland Conservation <br />Act. The filled areas need to be eliminated or mitigated." <br />The project plans were presented, including the area the <br />Tiller Corporation proposes to mitigate. Mitigation will be <br />done on a one to one basis. <br />
