Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for

<br />RESOLUTION #09-09-XXX
<br />RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR CITY PROJECT 08-32,
<br />ANDRIE STREET AND 164TH LANE STREET IMPROVEMENTS
<br />WHEREAS, on August 11, 2009 the Ramsey City Council authorized the solicitation of
<br />bids from plans prepared by City staff; and
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Improvement Project 08-32,
<br />Andrie Street and 164t" Lane Street Improvements, bids were received, opened and tabulated
<br />according to law; and
<br />WHEREAS, the following is a summary of the bids that were received:

<br />WHEREAS, Rum River Contracting, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder.
<br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows:
<br />1) That the Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a
<br />contract with Rum River Contracting, Inc. for Improvement Project 08-32, Andrie Street
<br />and 164t" Lane Street Improvements in the amount of $1,117,886.91, and
<br />2) That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
<br />deposits made with their bids.
<br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
<br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
<br />thereof:
