CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, November 10, <br />2009, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember John Dehen <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Matt Look <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br />Deputy City Administrator Heidi A. Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />Community Development Director Amber Miller <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:49 p.m. <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as submitted. <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />1) Discuss Amending Chapter 7 (Business Registration Certificate) of the City Code <br />Police Chief Way reviewed the staff report. <br />Mayor Ramsey asked what the benefit was for the business to have a business license in the City. <br />Police Chief Way responded the City would then have all information for the business, such as if <br />the business had hazardous materials or chemicals on site.
