K & K SHARP, LLC <br />10907-93rd Avenue hlorth <br />Maple Grove, MN 55369-4199 <br />February 23, 2010 <br />Sean Sullivan <br />City of Ramsey <br />7550 Sunwood Drive <br />Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />Dear Sean, <br />Regarding the attached letters received from Bill Goodrich pertaining to the buildings at 6701 <br />and 6745 Hwy 10 in Ramsey. <br />1. Every property I have an interest in, has gone down in value the last few years and I as a <br />landlord have protected our tenants by trying to keep real estate taxes compatible with <br />other properties. The City should do the very same thing to protect their tenants. <br />2. After receiving Bill's letters I pulled a property account summary from Anoka county <br />(the first one I have seen) because I couldn't believe your property has increased in value <br />to warrant a 29% and 52% increase in taxes respectively. In doing so, I discovered that <br />Mr. Goodrich had billed me for the FULL tax bill on 6701 Hwy 10 contrary to the <br />agreement you, Marty Fischer and I had made in June of 2008 when the council decided <br />our original lease and agreement was no longer acceptable. Since July 2008 I have been <br />paying the full tax on 6701 and have made 19 months payments of $1,353.50 which <br />should have been $541.40, over paying $812.10 for a total over payment of $15,429.90 <br />(see attached payments the City has received). <br />3.
