<br />Attn. Mick Kaehler <br />Building Official <br />City of Ramsey <br />-T've::~ ~-a ~_1 <br />PROPOSAL FOR PROVIDING ELECTRICAL INSPECTION SERVICE FOR <br />FISCAL YEAR 2010 <br />I Peter A. Tokle President of Tokle Inspections Incorporated, propose to provide <br />electrical inspections for the City of Ramsey. My qualifications are as stated <br />below: <br />• 1972 high school graduate with a B average. <br />• A 1975 construction electrician graduate of Anoka Technical College with an <br />A-, B+ grade point average. <br />• I completed a three year union-sponsored apprenticeship program. <br />• I received 100% on the B j ourneyman state exam. <br />• I received 94% on the journeyman state exam. <br />• I received 88% on the A master state exam. <br />• I maintain a Class A Masters and Journeymans License. <br />• I have 19 years of experience as a journeyman electrician. <br />• Iran service trucks for 3 years. <br />• I was a foreman for 8 years. <br />/ • I started as a State of MN electrical inspector in April 1996. <br />~/ • I am on my 14th year as a State of MN electrical inspector. <br />• I will inspect the whole inspection area everyday Monday through Friday. <br />/ • I make inspections in the evenings and weekends when homeowners are unable <br />or unwilling to arrange inspections during regular business hours. <br />• When I receive ready-now permits, I promptly call the homeowner and add <br />them to the day's work load. <br />• I do not let my ready-now permits sit around and get old or pile up. I complete <br />them ASAP. <br />• I will perform inspections upon request of the installer after the installer has <br />submitted a permit to the City. <br />• I look through all my permits every 3 months and call the contractor or <br />homeowner if I think the job is done. I don't wait for the permit to expire. <br />• I have a fax machine that I take inspection requests on. I also fax back answers. <br />to questions from contractors and homeowners. The number 763-754-2983 is <br />available to everyone. <br />• I take calls for inspections from 7:00 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. Monday -Friday, <br />except holidays. <br />• I return phone messages when I get home. <br />• I have a cell phone that I can be reached on throughout the day. The number <br />(612-791-6373) is available to city personnel who may give it to contractors <br />and homeowners as needed. <br />
