Ferche, Inc. $160,665.00 · CCS Contracting, Inc. $161,120.00 Councilmember Kurak inquired if the-funds were coming from TIF to which Mr. Olson replied yes. Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Pearson, to approve Resolution #03-03-078, awarding Project #03-21, Sunwood Drive Lift Station to Hydrocon, Inc. in the amount of $133,770. _:. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Pearson, Elvig, Cook, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #11: Adopt Ordinance to Amend City Code Chapter 8 (Building and Housing) Community Development Director Frolik stated that the State will be converting from the Uniform Building Code (UBC) to the International Building Code (IBC) at the end of the. month: Municipalities with populations in excess of 2,500 must update their codes to reflect the change. On March 11, 2003, the City Council introduced a self-perpetuating ordinance that is intended to always reflect the most current edition of the State Building Code. A section was added to confirm that the City will be requiring permits for re-roofing and re-siding jobs. City staff recommended adoption of the self-perpetuating ordinance. Motion by Councilmember Kurak, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Ordinance #03- 03-08 adopting the Minnesota State Building Code.
