CASE <br /> <br />ADOPT ORDINANCE TO CHANGE STREET NAMES IN HIGHLANDS AT RIVER <br />PARK AND HIGHLANDS AT RIVER PARK 2ND ADDITION; <br /> CASE OF CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> By: Community Development Director Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />In the recorded plats of Highlands at River Park and Highlands at River Park 2nd Addition, there <br />is a North Yakima Court N.W. and a South Yakima Court N.W. The ~City has received <br />information from 911 Central Communications that prefacing Yakima Court N.W. with a 'north' <br />and 'south' designation is problematic to their system and emergency responders. On March 25, <br />the City Council conducted a public hearing and introduced an ordinance to eliminate the 'north' <br />and 'south' preface from Yakima Court N.W.
