I <br /> <br />! <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />[ <br />I <br /> <br />When an existing Permit holder changes its name but does not substantially change its business <br />operations, the business owner shall reapply for a Business Tenant Certificate, however, the City will <br />not require an additional application fee. <br /> <br />A non-refundable application fee, in an amount established by City Council resolution, shall be paid to <br />the City of Ramsey, shall accompany the application and said application shall contain the following <br />information: <br /> <br />g. <br />h. <br />i. <br />j. <br />k. <br />1. <br />m. <br />n. <br /> <br />o. <br /> <br />Name of proposed business <br />Address of business (including suite number) <br />Phone number of business <br />Zoning district where the business is located <br />Key holder contact information <br />Type of business operation <br />Building owners name, address, and phone numbers <br />Amount of flammable/combustible liquid storage on the business site <br />Amount of hazardous materials storage on the business site <br />Amount of explosive material or ammunition on the business site , <br />Unique operation or design of the business <br />Hours of operation <br />Name of alarm company serving the business site <br />Alarm Status (Audible - Silent) <br />Type of Alarm System on the business site (Water Fl0TM, Burglar, Glass Break) <br /> <br />Subdivision 4. Issuance of Business Tenant Certificate <br /> <br />Upon reviewing the Business Tenant Certificate Application and upon the City receiving a completed <br />application and compliance with all applicable City Codes, Uniform Building Codes, and Uniform Fire <br />Codes has been verified, the City will issue a Business Tenant Certificate. <br /> <br />Subdivision 5. Penalty <br /> <br />Any person violating any provision of this section shall 'be guilty of a petty misdemeanor and upon <br />conviction shall be punished according to law. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. Summary <br /> <br />This new ordinance requires all businesses in the City tO obtain a Business Tenant. Certificate~. <br />Establishing a comprehensive business list and detailed information pertaining to the operation of the <br />business will allow City departments to provide accurate non-private information to the public; ensure <br />the business is operating in the appropriate facility, and provide for better means to alert the Police <br />Department of any hazards or security issues that may effect the community. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. Effective Date <br /> <br />This ordinance becomes effective upon its passage and (30) days after its publication according to law. <br /> <br />-213- <br /> <br /> <br />
