-80- Case #2: Request to End Probationary Period for Full-Time Records Management Clerk Assistant. City Administrator Nelson stated that at their regular meeting of August 13, 2002, the City Council approved the hiring of Amy Dietl to the position of full-time Records Management Clerk effective August 19, 2002. A performance appraisal was completed and Ms. Dietl has successfully completed this probationary period~ Staff recommended that the probationary period be ended for full-time Records Management Clerk, Amy Dietl, effective February 19, 2003. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to recommend that City Council adopt the resolution ending the probationary period for full-time Records Management Clerk, Amy Dietl, effective February 19, 2003 .... Motion cmried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and. Councilmembers Elvig, Cook, Kurak, Pearson, Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #3: Request to End Probationary Period for FUll-Time Accounting Clerk Assistant City Administrator Nelson stated that at their regular meeting of July 23, 2002, City Council approved the h/ring of Jen.rfie Loeffler to the position of full-time Accounting Clerk effective August 9, 2002. A2 performance appraisal has been completed and Ms. Loeffler has successfully completed this probationary period. Staff recommended that the probationary period be ended 1br full-time Accounting Clerk, Jennie Loeffler effective February 9, 2003. Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Kapler stated that Ms. Loeffter has been very pleasant to work with and is a big asset to the City. Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to recommend that City Council adopt the resolution ending the probationary period for full-time Accounting Clerk, Jennie Loeffler, effective February 9, 2003. Case#4.: Request to End Probationary Period for Full'Time Assistant City Administrator City Administrator NOrman stated that at their regular meeting of January 8, 2002, City Council approved the hiring of Heidi Nelson [o the position of:full-time Assistant City Administrator effective February 19, 2003. A performance, appraisal has been completed and 1Vis. Nelson has successfully completed this probationary period in an exemplary manner. [t was noted that during Ms. Nelson's. first year, she received recognition from the Minnesota Association of Urban Management Assistants as "Assistant of the Year".
