<br />Dear Mr. and Mrs. Niles:
<br />The City of Ramsey has adopted certain ordinances that are designed to help keep the community safe,
<br />healthful and attractive. An inspection of the above premises revealed the following violations of the
<br />Ramsey City Code as listed below.
<br />Section 30-3(6) (Storage or accumulation of waste, refuse or garbage that is not designed or
<br />reasonably adapted for such purposes): All waste, refuse; or garbage including, but not limited to,
<br />appliances, furniture, barrels with unknown substances, motor vehicle parts (including, but not
<br />limited to, tires, axels, bumpers, rims, transmissions, engine blocks, vehicle doors, miscellaneous
<br />body parts, wiring harnesses, snow plow accessories, batteries, seats, vehicle frames, mufflers, bed
<br />liners, brake rotors, signal lights), scrap metal, garage doors (stacked in reaz yard-not installed on any
<br />structures), wood scrap, scrap metal, sewing machines, televisions, barrels (small and 55 gallon), gas
<br />cans, block and unused construction materials. Any material meeting the definition of waste, refuse,
<br />or garbage must be properly disposed of.
<br />Section 30-3(26) (The outdoor or outside storage of any part of a motor vehicle or piece of
<br />machinery that is deteriorating or unusable or intended to be used as salvageable parts): All
<br />parts of motor vehicles stored outside or outdoors is prohibited and must removed or stored indoors.
<br />Enclosed for your information are pictures of some of the violations listed above. There pictures were
<br />taken when staff visited with you on your Property on April 6, 2010. Additional pictures were taken
<br />Apri126, 2010 and they are also enclosed.
<br />You are being asked to remedy the above City Code violations within 30 days of the date hereof. When
<br />you have completed the clean-up of your Property, please call either of the below named persons and a
<br />representative of the City will come to your Property to verify compliance.
<br />Your failure to cause your Property to come into compliance, as above identified, will necessitate the City
<br />initiating its City Code nuisance abatement process. This process will include a formal notice to you, an
<br />opportunity to comply and, if necessary, an administration heazing if so requested by you. Ultimately the
<br />City may be granted authority to come onto your Property to abate the ordinance violations and assess the
<br />cost against your Property.
