Based upon additional complaints regarding the <br />appearance of the property, Staff visited the site in early April and met with the property owner. <br />Another letter was sent April 28, 2010. This letter dealt only with code violations on the <br />property, per the City Attorney. Both letters are attached for your review. <br />In light of the cost of the some of the abatements in the past, it has been recommended that the <br />City Council give Staff direction on whether to proceed with abatement or through the court with <br />this particular case. <br />An additional violation has been noticed on the site, a sign was erected without a permit.
