PC ~.01 <br />CONSIDER A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING <br />THE RESIGNATION OF THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER/ <br />ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES <br />By: Heidi Nelson, Deputy City Administrator/Director of Community Development <br />Background <br />On May 4, 2010, the City's Human Resources Manager/Assistant Director of Admirvstrative Services <br />GivonnaReed Kone subnuttecl a letter ofresignation. Ms. Reed Kone's last day of employment with the <br />City will be June 1, 2010. <br />As members ofthe City Council are aware, this position was recently reclassified to take on significant <br />responsibilities in Adminishative Services which enables the Deputy City Administrator to focus on the <br />City Council'sprimary goal ofdeveloping the COR and the citymore broadly. Staffis in theprocess of <br />conducting a Needs Analysis for the Human ResourcesManager/Assistant Director ofAdministrarive <br />Services position and will distribute the resutts ofthe Analysis to the City Council via email Friday <br />allemoon. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends that the City Council accept the resignation of the Human Resources <br />Manager/Assistant Director of Adrninishative Services. <br />Funding Source <br />'Ihe salary of the Human Resounces Manager/Assistant Director of Administrative Services is included in <br />the 2010 General Fund budget. <br />Committee Action <br />Make a motion recommending that the City Council accept the resignation of the Human <br />ResourcesManager/Assistant Director ofAdmin;~irative Services. <br />Reviewed by: <br />~~ City Administ <br />~ ~ti <br />PC: 5-11-10 <br />
