S~ i a- 'Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved forits adoption: RESOLUTION #10-OS-XXX RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #10-07 (BITUMINOUS OVERLAY OF PORTIONS OF ALPINE DRIVE & ROANOKE STREET -MSA STREETS) WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted Feruary 9, 2010, a feasibility study for the 2010 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #10-07 (Bituminous Overlay of portions of Alpine Drive & Roanoke Street -MSA Streets) and, WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted a resolution on February 9~ 2010, fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement. WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held on March 9`h 2010, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following the public hearing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: 1) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed on May 11, 2010. 2) City Engineer Steve Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. 3) The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such plans and specifications. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: RESOLUTION #10-OS-XXX Page 1 of 2
