N + .a
LRRWMO Meeting Minutes
April 15, 1993
Page 9
discharge into a Class A or B water body. In his opinion,
this project meets those-criteria.
Weaver queried whether there are storm water structures that
discharge into the Rum River in the Rivers Bend development.
Jankowski replied in the negative.
Schrantz requested confirmation that Jankowski was intimately
that this project is within city jurisdiction. Jankowski
confirmed that in his opinion it was, with the exception of a
couple of hundred feet which is proposed to discharge
directly into the Rum River. However, he asked that the
board take into consideration that the plan proposes for
removing most of the impervious area of direct discharge off
149th.
Schrantz, therefore, recommended that Jankowski send the
LRRWMO a letter stating that in his opinion this project
falls within the jurisdiction of the City of Ramsey. Again,
Schrantz predicted that this developer will have to get
permits from other agencies before he is finished.
Jankowski added that there are two small areas of type one or
two wetlands that will, as proposed, be filled and mitigated
on site.
MEETING RECESSED
Due to the lateness of the hour and prior schedules of the
members, the board agreed to continue this meeting to the
next day, April 16, 1993, in the Committee Room of Anoka City
Hall at 8:30 a.m.
Motion was made by Jankowski, seconded by Weaver, to RECESS
THIS MEETING TO APRIL 16, 1993, AT 8:30 A.M.
