,' '.o <br />JULY MEETING OF THE <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED <br />JULY 16, 1993 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Vice Chair Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at <br />8:30 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben <br />Ferguson, Coon Rapids; Bruce Perry, Andover; and John Weaver, <br />Anoka. <br />Also present were Anoka Alternate Ray Schultz and Deputy <br />Treasurer Jim Knutson. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Administrative Secretary's Job Description <br />The board reviewed the proposed job description of the LRRWMO <br />Administrative Secretary, agreeing with the duties outlined. <br />The procedure for procuring a replacement for Mava Mikkonen <br />in this position was discussed. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to REQUEST <br />THAT THE ANOKA PERSONNEL DIRECTOR WORK WITH MAVA MIKKONEN AND <br />JIM KNUTSON TO DEVELOP A PROPOSAL FOR SERVICES FOR THE <br />POSITION OF ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY FOR THE LOWER RUM RIVER <br />WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION, UTILIZING REASONABLE COSTS <br />ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROCESS. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT (Cont.) <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period <br />ending June 30, 1993, showing the various account balances: <br />checking account, $10.00; interest bearing savings account, <br />$5,691.13, less permit account balance of $4,718.83, for a <br />total savings account balance of $972.30; and certificates of <br />deposit of $17,000.00; for a total current balance of <br />$22,701.13. <br />Motion was made seconded and unanimously carried to ACCEPT <br />THE JULY 1993 TREASURER'S REPORT AS PRESENTED. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />
