LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED
JUNE 23, 1993
CALL TO ORDER
Vice-Chair Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at
8:30 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall.
ROLL CALL
Members present were Steve Jankowski, Ben Ferguson, and John
Weaver. Jim Schrantz was absent.
Also present were Anoka Alternate Ray Schultz, Andover repre-
sentative Todd Haas, and Randy Pederson.
CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES
Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to APPROVE
THE MAY 27, 1993, MEETING MINUTES AS PRINTED.
3 ayes - 0 Hayes. He reminded the board that previous discussions
included the possibility of looking at the fund balance and,
if it permitted, reducing the dues. Previous discussions
also included the possibility of looking at reducing fiscal
year 1994's contribution from all cities rather than reducing
the second half 1993 dues. Rnutson stated the second half
dues amount to just under $9,100 total from member cities,
noting that the City of Coon Rapids pays its dues in full in
one payment each year.
Jankowski queried whether there were any large expenditures
expected. He did note the receipt of a draft Joint Powers
