LOWER RUM RIVER <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />OCTOBER 20, 1994 <br />Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m. in the Committee Room <br />of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; Bruce <br />Perry, Andover Alternate; and John Weaver, Anoka. Absent: None. <br />Also present was Anoka Alternate Ray Schultz. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the September I5, 1994, <br />regular meeting minutes correcting the name of Ramsey Councilmember Hardin on page <br />two. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's 1994 Budget Report and Treasurer's Statement of Cash <br />Receipts and Disbursements for the period ending September 30 , 1994. Account balances <br />for the period were: Checking, $10.00; interest bearing savings account, $6,594.20; less <br />permit account balance of $6,421.20, for a total available savings account balance of $173.70; <br />and certificates of deposit totaling $32,000.00; for a current total balance of $38,604.20. <br />Knutson reported that four permits were received in September and two in October. Dues <br />were recently received from Andover, Anoka and Ramsey. It was noted that Coon Rapids' <br />dues were paid in full. Knutson also reported on CDs that were invested. He noted that <br />three more are coming due and currently a lot of cash is available in anticipation of revising <br />the Plan. <br />In response to Weaver's question, Knutson advised that about $32,000 is available once the <br />permit fees are deducted. Weaver questioned whether permit account balances are adjusted <br />by deducting engineering costs as submitted by Ban Engineering. Knutson pointed out this <br />is reflected as "Permit Review" in the Treasurer's Report. Weaver extended his appreciation <br />to Knutson for the excellent work done on behalf of the LRRWMO. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to accept the Treasurer's Report for <br />the period ending September 30, 1994. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />
