~_ •~ <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />APRIL 21, 1994 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:33 a.m. in the Committee Room <br />of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids <br />(arrived at 8:38 a.m.); Todd Haas, Andover; and John Weaver, Anoka. Absent: None. <br />Also present was Anoka alternate Ray Schultz. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to approve the March 17, 1994, regular <br />meeting minutes correcting Page 6, fourth paragraph, to indicate "Weaver also supported <br />allowing the DNR to regulate.. " Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />ANNUAL AUDIT <br />Knutson presented the Annual Audit for years ended January 31, 1994 and 1993 as prepazed <br />by the CPA firm of Bruce R. Siegfried. He reviewed the balance sheets, statement of <br />revenues, expenditures and changes in fund balance and statements of cash flows, and noted <br />there are no audit adjustments being recommended. <br />Ferguson arrived at 8:38 a.m. <br />Weaver commented this is an excellent audit which is reasonably priced. <br />Knutson reported the auditor did inquire about fund balances and plans for future years, <br />and that he informed the auditor about the work taking place in 1994-95 on the Plan update. <br />Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Haas, to accept the Annual Audit for the fiscal <br />year ended January 31, 1994, as presented. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />It was noted that a copy of the audit will be sent to BWSR and the State Auditor's Office. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending March 31 , 1994. Account <br />balances for the period were: Checking, $10.00; interest bearing savings account, $5,177.88, <br />less permit account balance of $4,551.53, for a total available savings account balance of <br />
