He suggested the LRRWMO submit
reimbursement requests on a quarterly basis.
It was agreed that members will continue to document time spent on wetland issues and
submit these figures quarterly to Chairperson Jankowski for reimbursement through the
WCA Grant.
Weaver asked if these funds were included in the 1995 budget. Knutson stated they were
not because it was not known the funds would also be available in 1995.
Conservation District Grant 1995 Memorandum of Understandine
Jankowski advised that the Conservation District has indicated that an additional $2,000 is
available for reimbursement in 1995 through the WCA Grant. The Conservation District
has requested the LRRWMO execute a Memorandum of Understanding for this grant. The
terms aze the same as in 1994, to reimburse expenses of the LRRWMO to enforce
conditions of the WCA.
Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to authorize the execution of the 1995
Memorandum of Understanding between the Anoka County Conservation District and
LRRWMO. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
Haas explained that the Andover Finance Duector has asked if cities will be reimbursed for
their costs.
Knutson advised that the majority of expenses submitted for reimbursement from the WCA
Grant were from the cities of Ramsey and Andover.
Jankowski stated he thought the funds would be left with the LRRWMO since they applied
for and received the grant.
Haas pointed out the cities aze spending money from their funds but the LRRWMO is
getting the reimbursement from the grant. He suggested that perhaps those funds should
be reimbursed back to the city that is covering the expense.
Weaver supported allowing the LRRWMO to keep the funds.
