LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />September 21, 1995 <br />Page 9 <br />Moved by Ottensmann, seconded by Weaver, to request Barr Engineering to review the plan <br />and prepare written recommendations to Mn/DOT requesting compliance including the <br />LRRWMO's concern regarding: <br />• Ultimate disposition of water generated from this project <br />• Lack of sedimentation <br />• Impact to play and picnic areas from surface sand, salt, oil, and other <br />residuals deposited by surface run-off. <br />• Design criteria for run-off <br />and to also request Mn/DOT follow the normal application procedure by applying for a <br />permit and paying the $500 fee to cover the cost for review by Barr Engineering. The <br />LRRWMO requests Barr Engineering bill Mn/DOT directly for their review with the <br />intention that if payment is refused, the LRRWMO will cover the cost for review. Vote: <br />4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Weaver requested that a copy also be sent to Chuck Siggerud, Metro Division Engineer, so <br />he is advised of LRRWMO's concerns. He suggested that member Cities inform their <br />legislators that the State of Minnesota is in violation of regulations they established for <br />WMO's to operate under. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />A motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ottensmann, to adjourn the meeting.
