LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JUNE 15, 1995 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:40 a.m. in the Committee Room <br />of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; Todd <br />Haas, Andover; and John Weaver, Anoka. <br />Also present was Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate; Jim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer; Mazk <br />Lobermeier, SEH Consultant; and John Harwood, Hakanson Anderson, Assoc., Inc. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Ferguson to approve the May 18, 1995, regulaz <br />meeting minutes, as submitted. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending May 31, 1995.. Account <br />balances for the period were: Checking, $43,426.78; less permit account balance of <br />($5,340.90),for a total available balance of $38,085.88. <br />Knutson advised Steven Fries has submitted $2,000 of additional permit fees, resulting in a <br />positive balance in his escrow fund. <br />Weaver noted there will be a balance of approximately $18,000 after the Plan Update is <br />paid. He pointed out budget time is coming up and the LRRWMO will be reviewing <br />Knutson's budget recommendations at the next meeting. He assumed the assessment to <br />member cities will be lower than for the current year since it will not include funding for the <br />Plan update. Knutson concurred. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to accept the Treasurer's Report for <br />the period ending May 31, 1995. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />WCA Grant Update <br />Knutson explained the WCA Grant provides matchine funds and emphasized the need to <br />maintain accurate records to obtain WCA Grant reimbursement. <br />
