In response to this, the Anoka Conservation District (ACD) is offering to do <br />the following: <br />1. A Joint Folders Soerd is established to oversee the development of the. groundwork <br />for a multigttri6dictional wetland managesneat plan templates <br />4_ The TP'B coattacts wi[h the ACD to begin developing s wetiattd managemear plan <br />template by reviewing reseatth on functions end values, inventorying feattues such as <br />drsined wetlands and coordinating with Anoka County GIS to present data on <br />wetland type. gttetttity and dtstnbution by watershed on maps. <br />5. These data and research ore presented to the 7PB and analysed to develop <br />management saategies. <br />6. Selected strategies are cornpited by the AC13 and gresented to the 3PB for <br />incorporation into local plans or possibly for immediate submittal to the B WSA. <br />Onc of the requirements of the grant is that a wctLatsd management plan is ultimately <br />produced from the funds allocated. it must not necessarily be completed during the first <br />grant period. LGU's who participate, however, trtttst intend to implement a local wetland <br />rttattagcrneat plan. Each LGU would be free la alter the plan template to better suite their <br />needs. <br />At this point, we need this concept to be presented to the various LGII boards for <br />consideration.
