Rats, those commonly associated with landfills, are not considered <br />to be wildlife. They are, however, living organisms and their <br />presence has had a great bearing on human history. Several <br />families that I interviewed voiced a real concern about their high <br />level of rats. One family keeps rat poison in position the year <br />round. The FAA (plus my experience as a military pilot for 25 <br />years) indicates rats and airports are very incompatible. <br />A-2 <br />
