Restrictions <br />Restrictions shall be the same as those specified <br />in 2331.3B except as modified by the following: <br />Bituminous wearing or interim wearing course <br />mixtures which are less than one inch in <br />compacted thickness shall be placed during a <br />period of rising temperature aftex the air <br />temperature, in the shade and away from <br />artificial heat, has reached 50°F and <br />indications are fora continued rise in <br />temperature. During a period of falling <br />temperature the placement of bituminous wear <br />or interim wearing course mixture (less than <br />one inch) shall be suspended when the air <br />temperature, in the shade and away from <br />artificial heat, reaches 50°F. <br />Bituminous wearing or interim wearing course <br />mixtures which are one inch or greater in <br />compacted thickness may be placed when the <br />air temperature is 50°F or less provided that <br />the mixture laydown temperature (as measured <br />behind the paver or spreading machine) is at <br />least 260°F. <br />After September 1st a minimum of one (1) <br />pneumatic tired roller shall be used for <br />intermediate rolling, unless otherwise <br />directed by the Engineer. <br />In all cases the rolling operation shall <br />commence as soon as possible after mixture <br />placement. <br />E.
