<br />Alternate #6 <br />' The alignment and location of Primary Runway 14-32 shown in Alternate Layout #6, <br />see Figure 8, is the same and has the same impacts as it did in Alternate #5. <br />' However, the crosswind runway has been realigned to a 5-23 orientation to <br />' increase the combined wind coverage to nearly 96 percent. <br />' Crosswind runway 5-23 has been positioned to the northeast as far as possible <br />to maximize the amount of County Ditch #51 - Trott Brook floodway land included <br />' in the clear zones and safety zones of the northeast approach area. However, <br />the southwest approach areas and the primary surface of Runway 5-23 utilize <br />farmland and wooded areas included in the rural service area. <br />Alternate #7 <br />' Crosswind Runway 5-23 of Alternate Layout #7, shown in Figure 9, is positioned <br />the same and has the same impacts as associated with Alternate #6. The primary <br />runway, however, has been reoriented to a more northerly alignment of 17-35 <br />' and positioned entirely west of Lake Itasca. Runway 17-35 is located as far <br />north as possible to again maximize the amount of .clear zone and safety zone <br />' area which falls over County Ditch #51 - Trott Brook floodway limits. The <br />primary surface and south approach zones of Runway 17-35 are situated over an <br />area which is predominantly farmland. <br />' Primary runway 17-35 provides a wind. coverage of nearly 80 percent while the <br />combined coverage is approximately 90 percent. <br />' Alternate #8 <br />' Alternate layout #8 utilizes the same Crosswind Runway 9-27 alignment and <br />' 18 <br />
